Week 5 - July 20-24, 2009 “Individual Offensive Improvement”

Age of campers:
Entering the 2nd – 9th in September 2009
Gender:
Boy and girl campers can enroll in this session
Hours 8:15 am – 3:45 pm {structured camp schedule runs from 9:00am – 3:00pm}
‘Early drop-off’ begins at 8:15 each morning & ‘late pick-up’ runs until 3:45 every day. Forty-five minutes of supervised, free-shooting is included before and after the six hours of organized camp instructional time.
Teaching Objective:
Campers will receive instruction that focuses on the important individual skills of passing, catching, dribbling, & shooting the basketball. Campers will receive lessons on being a complete offensive player.
Camp Notes:
Each camper will receive our ‘Camp Notes’ at the conclusion of each camp session. This document will contain the areas of teaching and instruction from the week in an outline format.
Daily Format:
Individual Offensive Skill Improvement drills and mini-lectures will highlight each day’s schedule. Fun games will be mixed in so that this important skill work can be attempted under game conditions.

Lunch & Camp Bank:
Campers may bring lunch or buy lunch. Pizza slices, drinks, & snacks will be sold daily. Parents may deposit money in the ‘Camp Bank’ and we will subtract money each day as the campers move through the lunch line.
